The group of people named the 'Louisville Ghost Hunters Society' understands that 99% of their ghost findings can be "explained in a rational scientific way", but the other 1% is what keeps them from doing public and private investigations. This society remains one of the oldest and most respected ghost hunting societies in the world because of their professionals methods for spotting ghost. These group of hunters do not use "metaphysical manner (no psyhics, empaths, calirvoyants, etc.)." This group of hunters has over 100 active members and hundreds of other scooby-doo-like ghost hunters out there. Like a few other ghost hunting societies, the Louisville Ghost Hunters society provide public and private investigations free of charge. Keith Age, who is the founder of the society, is a charitable, polite, and a kid at heart. He enjoys hunting for ghost for free and his ghost hunting society also raised $10,000 for Crusade for Children.
Another ghost hunting society is the actual 'Ghost Hunter's Society'. They are an "independent research team dedicated to scientifically investigating and documenting paranormal phenomenon such as hauntings, poltergeists, apparaitions, ghost lights, and electronic voice phenomenon, and other paranormal claims." This society has networked itself with college students from all over the United States, including; University of Illinois psychology department and Purdue University. Their current investigations include places such as: Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Willard Library, Robinson Woods Burial Grounds, and many other cemeteries and old buildings. Ghost are popular to find within cemeteries because people believe that spirits rise up from their graves and roam the earth as they watch over their loved ones.
Like most people in this world, we are all kids-at-heart. If bungy jumping, driving really fast, or ghost hunting is what ignites our adrenaline then we whole-heartedly act out upon that. A hand few of people in this world have found ghost hunting the sort of activity that stirs their senses. Despite finding excitement during our childhood when we would see ghosts in cartoons such as Scooby-doo, people choose to find a higher level of excitement by hunting for ghosts themselves. Just like the many ghost hunting societies on earth, Scooby-doo and the gang have also been able to find scientific and justifiable facts to disprove paranormal activity.
